I can't believe my baby is 6! He's so big now.

Landon had a pirate party, and he has been so excited about it. Nana sent all this great pirate party stuff, costumes, and giant pirate coloring books for the boys. Mommy made a pirate ship cake with Pirate Larry at the wheel, and we had the makings of a great party. Then, today (his actual birthday) Daddy made him French Toast for breakfast, he got to watch as many movies as he wanted, we went to the pool at his request, he got his presents from us, and we had a steak dinner (which they all loved minus the green beans :))

Yvonne made this awesome birthday cake for Josiah. I'll upload a video of us singing soon. It is so great. She put a firework candle in the center of the volcano and when we lit it up it was way cool!

One of his presents was this ball with a spinning motor in it. I think it's usually a fun toy for pets but Josiah is pretty wild so it works well for him. ;)

The grandparents chipped in for this "Sand and Sea" table. It has a sandbox on one side and a fun water channel on the other. Ther ei s apecial doohickey that makes the water move around and push boats. There is also a cool water tower.












































But as always... nothing beats a box to play with. Look for the feet.

The boys keep us on our toes, but provide us with plenty of laughter too. They love making "houses" out of the cushions and hiding in them with their "doors." Josiah closes his and yells, "Where are me, Mommy?" before popping out with a crazy grin on his face.

We hit up a local park after dinner tonight with Nana. Got some cute pics :)

Josiah has really begun to love music lately, and his favorite song is "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." Although not every word is recognizable and the motions seem to be a little too complicated to sing with, it sure is cute. Enjoy...

Well it was my turn to get up with the boys this morning and when my half-opened crusty eyelids peered out our family room window i saw white stuff. i figured it was just those little sleep cookies that get caught in the corner of your eyes kinda floating around in the muck after rubbing my eyes... but i was wrong! it was snow!

my computer was taken to the states to be repaired while some friends of ours were visiting family there. So here are some posts to play catch up...

We were walking down the street and Landon complained that the sun was hurting his eyes. So I gave him my sunglasses. He was pretty cute in them.

Yvonne got a few cute spidey masks so Landon likes to put it on and in a deep raspy monstery voice say, "I'm Spiderman!"






























Josiah wasn't too into wearing the mask... oh well.

We went to a local water park and had a great time. On the way home our taxi broke down. My taxi driver friend and I were working under the hood. Yvonne, her friend, and our combined 4 kids were still in the car. The trunk was open because we were getting tools from it a few minutes earlier. Amazingly enough a few guys walked buy and stole our bag out of the trunk and none of us saw it happen! That seems impossible to me! Oh well. They got some money, our house keys, my wallet, and some clothes... but hey... we're safe... so enjoy the pictures

This is a really pretty garden about 20 mintues form our house. If you think back to when we first got here we went to this park the 2nd day we were here.

landon is seriously into his teddy right now. he carries him around with him. tells us that teddy is sleepy and that it's teddy's turn to throw the ball to him... which i somehow manage to make teddy do. it is really cute.












I don't know why but this picture makes me think of the guards in the wizard of oz that worked for the wicked witch.


















some friends of ours had their parents bring out some cheerios for us. that is the classic baby food for beginners like josiah... and it isn't available here... at all! so thank you stubbs! the next couple pics show josiah with cheerios stuck on his face.
